The HEIS is basically addressed at sharing information regarding the achievements of hydraulics-related knowledges from time to time that make such achievements may provide the effectiveness and efficiency in elevating the human welfare, not only considering the engineering viewpoints, but also from the socio-economic and environment viewpoints. Issues on the current rapid development in information technologies and its related impacts are also put as important part to keep the seminar remains on the track towards the sustainable development.
